Dr. O'Banion's primary practice is located at the Emory Eye Center and also at the Grady Eye Clinic. She also serves as the Director for the Eye Center's Global Ophthalmology-Emory program (GO-Emory), and the Director of the Global Ophthalmology Emory fellowship. She is a sought-after lecturer on both eye care and healthcare access. In addition to her post at Emory, Dr. O’Banion is a founding member of Georgia 2020, a community-focused initiative formed by local Georgia organizations dedicated to preserving eye health, and has traveled to many of the world’s poorest regions to provide life-changing vision care.
