Night of Spectacles (NOS) began as a way for the Lighthouse to meet growing funding needs while engaging altruistic community members and the healthcare community that are champions of our mission. It has since grown to be our largest and most anticipated annual event, raising nearly one million dollars for Lighthouse programs in the past eight years.
Our partners, including esteemed thought leaders in Ophthalmology and Optometry, Hearing Providers, community-minded corporations, fashion designers, and media outlets have helped the event rise to meet a growing need for providing vision and hearing services to thousands of uninsured Georgians each year.
The event’s signature “Fashion with a Mission” runway competition brings aspiring fashion designers to the stage with designs made using broken eyewear parts recycled through the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation’s Recycling Program. The winning designer will take home a $1,000 prize to forward their career.
The 9th annual Night of Spectacles will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the historic Foundry at Puritan Mill. The evening will also feature a silent and live auction, live entertainment, and a seated meal. We look forward to your company at NOS 2016!
